Overall English Language Education Curriculum Aims

Provide students with a wide range of learning experiences to enhance their English language proficiency.

Enable students in using English fluently to communicate in modern society and prepare for their further studies.

Goal for this year

Provide an authentic environment for students to develop their confidence in speaking English.
Strengthen the reading strategies skills of students, and integrate Reading across the Curriculum (RaC) into Reading Workshops.
Improve the process of teaching and learning by using blended learning and Learning across the curriculum (LAC).
Develop students’ self-directed learning habits.
Promote positive values and attitudes through Life-wide Learning activities.

Our Curriculum

PLP-R- Program and Guided reading lessons in P.1 - P.3:

Our school conducts three co-taught lessons that are delivered by a NET and LETs every week. We aim to develop students' language competency and phonetic skills from junior form.

Speaking lessons with NET:

P.4 – P.6 have co-taught lessons that are conducted by a NET and LETs once a week. The workshops cover the practical skills training of TSA examinations and secondary school interviews.

Adopt a blended learning approach:

We facilitate the self-directed learning ability of our students to cater for learner diversity, and to create a more motivated and effective learning environment.
